Q. How much does it cost to become a certified scuba diver?
A. Current cost is $600.00.

Q. How long does it take to become a certified scuba diver?
A. As quick as 2 weekends or as long as you need.

Q. Do I need to buy or rent anything?
A. Not at all! Everything is included in our pricing! You will be provided mask, fins, snorkel and booties and everything else for the duration of the class. We sell these items if you wish to purchase them from us. If you purchase your “personal gear” from us you will receive a package discount on those items.

Q. When are the scuba diving classes?
A. Monday and Wednesday evenings for 2 weeks from 6pm to 10pm or Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 2
weeks from 6pm to 10pm or Friday evening from 6pm to 10pm, Saturday from 8am to 5pm and Sunday 8am
to 12 noon. By special appointment. Lake sessions are done on Saturday and Sunday or by appointment.

Q. When can I start?
A. TODAY!!!! Click on the “Learn to Dive” log at the bottom of our homepage and follow the instructions. You
will be able to complete the 1st 3 sections at no cost. After that, just come into the shop and sign-up for the class.
We will unlock the rest of the sections so may complete your academic work

Q. What are Dive Site's hours?
A. Monday – Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9:30am to 2:00pm, Sunday Gone Diving

Q. What is a BC or BCD?
A. BCD or BC stands for Buoyancy Compensating Device. A BCD is the piece of equipment that holds the
tank and also allows you to become neutrally buoyant under water.

Q. What is an Octopus?
A. Some people refer to the complete Air Delivery System as the Octopus. It is also an alternate air source.
